Students are reading the decodable text, Seth. The book contains tricky words and decodable words using the sounds we have learned all learn. To help, please make sure to practice these sounds at home. You can make flashcards with the letter and have your child tell you the correct sound. :)
KnowledgeThis week, we will continue with Unit 7: Kings and Queens. In this unit, students will listen to read-alouds about kings and queens and royal families. Both the fiction and nonfiction selections will build students' understanding of the responsibilities, lifestyle, and customs associated with royalty throughout history.

Social Studies/ScienceThis week we will continue learning all about the life cycle of a chicken! Chickens aren't the only ones that lay eggs. This week will learn about other oviparous animals.
