Miss Samantha Espar Welcome to K2! My name is Samantha Espar, and I am a Kindergarten teacher at St. John XXIII. I am originally from Michigan City, IN. I moved to Phoenix in 2015 upon graduating from Indiana University with my B.S. in Early Childhood Education. Since then, I have taught Kindergarten in the Diocese of Phoenix for the past 8 years. I am so excited to start my 3rd year teaching at Saint John XXIII!
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. I attended Catholic schools from Pre-School through High School, and it was because of the education I received that I knew I wanted to become a teacher myself. My teachers instilled in me a passion for learning, and as an educator, I hope to instill that same passion in my student's lives.
Teaching Kindergarten is something I truly love doing! As most Kindergarteners are just beginning their academic careers, I feel as though it is my responsibility to ensure that my students enjoy school and learning. It is my goal to provide them with a fun learning experience, so that they wake up excited to go to school everyday!
In my time outside the classroom, I enjoy hiking with my puppy and spending time with my friends and family!
I am looking forward to getting to know you all and working together to further our children's education and instilling our Catholic values!
